This project is rooted in extensive research into Greek mythology, focusing on some of the most compelling legends and the symbolic elements that define them. Through this process, I analysed key motifs and extracted visual cues that could be translated into a contemporary visual language.
Since many Greek myths were originally written as theatrical works, I approached their visual interpretation through the lens of scenography and studio installations. This format allowed me to explore narrative space, staging, and atmosphere while transforming mythological themes into immersive visual compositions.
The aesthetic direction aims to create a surreal, futuristic atmosphere. Soft pastel colours draw the viewer in, while contrasting materials introduce an unsettling tension. The lighting and unconventional perspectives further enhance this contrast, creating a visual environment that feels both alluring and strangely disquieting.
